The full marathon course travels through vibrant downtown streets, beautiful riverfront areas, and welcoming communities before culminating in one of the most iconic finish-line experiences in the Midwest.

Course Description

The Essentia Health Fargo Marathon course showcases the best of the Fargo-Moorhead area with a mostly flat and fast route that is ideal for first-time marathoners and seasoned veterans alike. Runners will travel through downtown Fargo, cross into Moorhead, wind through scenic riverfront sections, and pass local landmarks, universities, and welcoming neighborhoods. With aid stations positioned throughout the course and crowd support around every corner, you'll never feel far from the excitement as you make your way back to the FARGODOME for an unforgettable finish.
