Where can I check to see if I'm registered?
You can check online.
How do I update my registration info?
All changes to your registration, besides the runner’s name, can be made free of charge. Simply log in to your Enmotive account to change it. Instructions on accessing/creating your account.
Can I transfer my registration (bib) to another person?
To Transfer Your Registration to Another Runner:
- The original runner must log into their Enmotive account and scroll down to find their existing race registration under “Current and Upcoming Events.”
- Click the blue “Actions” button to the right of the race name, and then “Transfer Registration.”
- Enter the new runner’s email address to begin the transfer process.
- The new runner will then receive an email from Enmotive with a link to complete the transfer.
- After clicking the transfer link in the Enmotive email, scroll down to click the green “Accept transfer” button.
- Complete the registration process, and pay the $10 transfer fee.
- Once completed, the new runner will receive an email confirmation, and the original runner will receive an email confirming their registration has been cancelled.
Can I move up or down a category?
Yes, you can change distances online before registration closes.
- To do so, simply log into your account (you may need to reset your password first).
- Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your upcoming race on the right-hand side of the screen.
- Click “View registration.” You’ll see your current race distance under “Category.”
- Just click “Edit,” choose the distance you’d like to switch to.
- You’ll be prompted to review the rest of your registration, and re-sign the waiver for the new distance.
Can I transfer to another race?
Yes! To transfer your entry to another Ventures Endurance event, simply follow these steps:
- Log into your Enmotive account and scroll down to find your race registration under “Current and Upcoming Events.”
- Click the blue “Actions” button to the right of the race name, and then “Defer to Another Event.”
- Locate your desired event location in the dropdown menu, then click ‘Search.’
- From there, click your desired race category, then follow the onscreen prompts. Once you complete payment, you’re all set and your new registration will appear in your account!
What if I'm unable to run in the race?
Unfortunately, we do not give refunds*. However, tickets can be transferred to another runner before online registration closes. Information on how to transfer your ticket can be found on this page under “How can I transfer my registration to another person?”
Can I register on race day?
In the unlikely event that the race isn’t sold out, you can still register online up until packet pickup ends on race day.
Can someone else pick up my packet or vice versa?
Any person picking up another registered runner’s packet will need to show confirmation from the registered runner that they can do so. A text, email, or letter will all be accepted as confirmation. They will also need the registered runner’s confirmation email with their unique QR code to successfully pick up a packet.
What are the course time limits?
The full marathon course will be open for 7 hours, equivalent to a 16 minute/mile pace. The half marathon course will be open for 4 hours, equivalent to an 18 minute/mile pace. There will be a support vehicle traveling behind the slowest finishers.
Is there a capacity limit (cap) on the distance events?
The Fargo Marathon faces both logistical and materials constraints, necessitating the existence of a capacity limit on these events. We have a cap of 2,000 on the full marathon, 6,500 on the half marathon, and 5,000 for the 10K. The 5K and Youth Runs do not have caps on them. The caps exist to ensure that all participants receive a safe and enjoyable experience along with the perks promised to them.
Are the courses hilly?
No! Fargo is flat, fast, & friendly!
What is the weather like in Fargo in end of May to early June?
According to Weatherspark, the average high is generally in the mid-60s Fahrenheit with average lows in the mid-40s Fahrenheit throughout event week.
Is there a walker division?
Walkers are welcome in all events, but they will need to abide by course closure times.
Where can I find the race info packet?
The race info packet will be emailed to all participants in the week leading up to the event!
Do I need to return my timing chip?
No. We use disposable chips that are attached to your bib. They do not need to be turned in after the race. They should also not be torn off your bib.
Are headphones, iPods, or MP3 players permitted?
You may wear your headphones, iPods, or MP3 players. However we ask that you keep the volume at a reasonable level for your own safety and out of courtesy for fellow participants. You should still be able to hear participants and volunteers in proximity to you. Be courteous of others!
Can I run with my baby stroller?
Strollers are allowed in the Youth Run and the 5K. They are not permitted in the marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, or 10K. The adult must be a registered runner wearing a bib. The child must stay in the stroller throughout the race.
Will there be pacers?

Is there an age limit?
Marathon participants must be 18 years old on race day. Half marathon runners must be 16. Runners in all other categories (besides the kids run) must be 8 years of age or older on race day to participate.
What about parking and shuttles?
Please read the Parking section of our website for information regarding parking and shuttle buses.
Can I check in my gear?
Yes. There will be a Gear Check station.
How do I get my free race photos?
We will have professional photographers on the course and at the finish line taking pictures. We will send notifications to all participants immediately after the event with instructions on how to access your free race photos.

What are the AWD (athletes with disabilities) guidelines and event rules?
Ventures Endurance happily welcomes all athletes to participate in our events. Athletes with Disabilities (AWD) include, but are not limited to the flowing athletes, Blade Runners, Visually Impaired Runners, Adaptive / Guided Runners, Pushed Athletes, Push Rim, Racing Chair and Hand Cycles.
To participate as an AWD athlete you must notify the Race Director of your participation a minimum of 20 days in advance. This allows our staff to ensure the safety and security of each athlete on the course prepare the ES (early starters) corral for athletes. To ensure your spot and be approved as an AWD participant please contact awd@venturesendurance.com. Is the Marathon USATF certified/Boston Qualifier?
Yes, this course is USATF-certified and a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Virtual Event FAQs
Where can I run/walk?
Anywhere! This is your virtual run, and we want you to complete it wherever and whenever you want between April 24 to June 5. Sidewalks, trails, and treadmills are all fair game. Want to make this a family run or walk with a stroller or your miniature schnauzer Sprinkles? Now’s the chance! Make the race you want.
What items are included with the Maine Coast Half Marathon Virtual Run?
We’ll ship the same awesome goodie bag* right to you that includes a full zip hoodie and a finisher medal for full marathon, half and 5k runners. *The beer given to participants at the live event is not included in the virtual offering.
When do I need to complete my run?
You can complete your run anytime between April 24 to June 5. Once you complete your run, you can log your results online. After that, you can download your Finisher’s Certificate, see how you rank on our active leaderboard, and upload photos to share with fellow participants. To receive a Finisher’s Certificate, your run must be completed and logged by June 5th.
How do I track my distance and time?
For the Virtual Run, we accept results on the honor system, but the most accurate tracking is typically via a device with GPS tracking.
How do I log my results?
After you’ve completed your run, click the Log Result button on your Virtual Run registration to enter your time. Once you’ve entered your run time, click the Finisher Certificate button to download your personalized Finisher Certificate.
When will my packet ship?
Race packets for the virtual run will begin to ship within 1-2 weeks of the live event.
Do I need to submit results to get a medal?
No. Your medal will be mailed to you with your packet after you register!
Do you ship internationally?
The Maine Coast Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Virtual Run are currently available only for addresses within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii*. *Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will incur an additional shipping fee.
What do I do if my goodie bag doesn’t fit? Can I swap it?
We do not offer any size exchanges post packet shipment. All changes to sizes need to be made prior to confirming registration. We highly recommend that all participants take care to view the sizing chart to order the correct size.
