- Teams make 5K events fun and memorable whether a team of two or a team of 25. BCBSND and Noridian are teaming up to help make the Friday Night 5K a success. We can use that to encourage people to follow our lead and team up with co workers, family, friends, etc.
- There are lots of reasons people choose to team up for a 5K. For this 5K, we will rally people to:
Team Up for Kids: Help give shoes to kids in need.
Team Up for Health: Preparing for and completing a 5K is good for your body and mind.
Team Up for You: Team up for whatever matters to you: honoring a lost family member, completing a 5K together for the first time, etc.
How to participate:
Make it fun. Start a team with coworkers or friends. Give yourselves a team name, make t-shirts, and go all in. Do the 5K however you can. Run it, walk it, go part way—whatever you feel comfortable with.
The goal is 5,000 runners in this year’s 5K, so let’s spread the word. Tag five people on social media or in-person and start gathering your team for Fargo Marathon's Friday Night 5K.
